The collaborative agreement with Pentek establishes NIS as a strategic supplier of enclosures in support of Pentek’s new “Real-Time Talon Extreme (RTX)” MIL-Grade family of high-performance data recorders.
The Pentek “RTX Extreme Rackmount” is based on NIS’s MIL spec Model 4104 enclosure with four (4) removable disk storage canisters each containing 8 solid state disk drives. Large volumes of data are recorded from a wide variety of high-speed Pentek supplied data acquisition cards typically utilized on aircraft and on ground mobile vehicles exposed to EMI, high altitude, extreme temperatures, shock and vibration.
