The agreement establishes Rigel Engineering as a strategic supplier. The objective is to provide Customers with PCB product design and manufacturing services that may be required to facilitate an upgraded enclosure.
These services include redesigning the Customer’s Single Board Computer (SBC) and their I/O processing cards. These services are provided consistent with NIS’s Enclosure Evaluation Service product offering and will provide an upgrade path for older non-current electronic card assemblies.
The services will be provided to NIS in a collaborative manner or directly to Customers. The relationship will expand NIS’ packaging services and diversifying Rigel Engineering’s SBC and I/O product lines.
The RIGEL ADVANTAGE – Rigel Engineering is an embedded computing company and provides custom Single Board Computers, rugged small form factor systems and carrier cards for military and commercial applications. Rigel Engineering designs and manufactures custom cards quickly with little, or in most cases, no NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering expense).
